Iron Carrot was founded when CJ recognised that many law firms struggle with a lack of data maturity. There are often alignment gaps between their strategic goals and the siloed reality of their data landscape.

We specialise in helping modern, innovative law firms to deliver robust data governance roadmaps. A roadmap allows firms to assure and accelerate their most critical data-driven initiatives.

Our two decades of law firm experience, combined with unrivalled industry-specific data governance expertise, has enabled Iron Carrot to launch the first data governance road-mapping approach purpose-built for the legal sector.

Why are we called Iron Carrot?

There isn’t an easy answer to this question – but it’s Wile E Coyote‘s fault!

We had a lot of brainstorming sessions and whiteboards covered in post-it notes with name ideas and concepts. We wanted our name to say that we have a solid (Iron) proposition to help your law firm with its data governance.

We also wanted to say that data governance is just a series of conversations. People will actively participate in the proper discussions because they understand the benefits (carrot and not stick).

Late into the night, we started stretching the roadmap metaphor too far and began reminiscing about RoadRunner cartoons. One of the ACME products that tempted the RoadRunner to stop was an Iron Carrot.

The rest, as they say, is history.
